Unbelievably it is only two weeks until our third “Fabulously Fruity” Christmas fayre gets underway, and this year looks set to be the best yet.
As usual the Christmas fayre will be held across the farm in a bespoke marquee, our on-site function room, and our converted barn. Each year we try to ensure that we have the widest range of locally made crafts on offer to give visitors plenty to see and purchase. Various artisan foods and drink stalls are also sourced to add a different dimension to the fayre.
This year we have roughly 30 stalls lined up, subject to final confirmation nearer the date. The majority of these are North Lincolnshire producers and small craft businesses so you can come and buy your Christmas presents in the knowledge that you are supporting local business.
The eclectic mix of stalls range from handbags, jewellery, soaps and candles, through to clocks, original art work, and a local blacksmith. In addition cakes, cheese, and locally produced honey will all be available. Our plant stall will allow you to purchase all your Christmas plants, perhaps a bright Poinsettia to get you in the Christmas spirit, or some beautifully presented hyacinth bulbs to cheer up your January.
As in previous years we will also be selling our “Fabulously Fruity” fruit wine, which is available in standard 750ml bottles, as well as our three, and six 250ml bottle gift packs. Wine tasting of all our current fruit wines will take place throughout the day on both Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 November. So we would be delighted to offer you a taste of some (or indeed all!) wines, and answer any questions you may have about our fruit, the wine making process or the wine itself.
The fayre is open from 10am until 4pm on both Saturday and Sunday, and we have ample car parking on site (although this can get busy at times!). We look forward to seeing you soon!
