Doesn’t time fly when you are busy and having fun! It is only 7 days till the fourth Christmas Food and Craft Fair we have held at Peaks Top Farm. It really doesn’t seem like 12 months ago that we were in the same position last year! This year the all important date is next Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd November. The 2 days will be the ideal way to start your Christmas preparations and we can guarantee a good day out for anyone in the Grimsby, Cleethorpes or wider area of North East Lincolnshire.
As previous years the fair will be held at Peaks Top Farm (postcode DN36 4RS). The fair will be inside a heated marquee which itself is inside one of our large barns on the farm. This will keep all our stallholders and visitors dry and warm regardless of whatever the British weather will throw at us! Opening times will be 10am to 4pm both days, it is free to get in and there is plenty of free car parking on the farm for all the visitors. Our function room will be open throughout both days serving tea, coffee and a wide variety of delicious homemade cakes (including gluten free) to keep you going in between all your Christmas shopping!
Naturally we will have all of our brilliant range of Fabulously Fruity wine at the fair. As at all the events we attend, free samples are available of our wine to give you the opportunity to sample if you have not tried it before, remind yourself how good it actually tastes or sample our latest limited edition wines. Our standard range of apple, blackcurrant, bramble, gooseberry, raspberry and strawberry will be for sale plus other limited editions. This weekend will be the first release of our 2015 vintage Elderflower and Rhubarb wine!
This year we have a wonderful variety of stallholders, who will be exhibiting a selection of some of the finest local products. Some of which will be:
Holland Brothers selling the finest Boston grown potatoes and vegetables.
Auntie Katie’s kitchens preserves and chutneys.
Steve Smiths Nibble Nose cheese company.
Lindsay Gardner with Spire Chocolates.
Shearsmiths original jewellery.
Paul Day with his original slate paintings.
Bob Mould and Croft Apiaries.
Maggie Campbell’s beautiful Harris Tweed handbags
Plus many, many more!
Our fair will be a great event and the perfect way to start the build up to Christmas. Follow us on Twitter @PeaksTopFarm for daily updates. If you would like any further information contact us on 01472 812941 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
