The run up to a busy Christmas event programme starts now!

Despite the unusually mild weather conditions for mid November that we are currently experiencing in North East Lincolnshire the countdown to a ‘Fabulously Fruity’ Christmas has started at Peaks Top Farm. At all the events we are attending up to Christmas our full range of fruit wine will be available plus our special Christmas gift packs.

Our first major event for the Christmas period is our own Christmas Food and Craft Fayre. The fayre will be held on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd November at Peaks Top Farm, opening 10am to 4pm both days. This year will be the fourth Christmas fayre we have held. Each year has been an improvement on the last with the variety of stallholders and the number of people visiting increasing. This year will be no different and we can guarantee a good day out for all the family and your Christmas shopping can start with us! All of our superb range of Fabulously Fruity wine will be available at the fayre including a variety of great Christmas gift pack options. There will be over 20 other local food and craft producers from Grimsby and the surrounding Lincolnshire area exhibiting their wonderful produce. The fayre is free to enter and there is plenty of free car parking at the farm for all the visitors. Tea, coffee and lots of delicious homemade cakes will be available in our function room to keep you going!

On Saturday 21st we are also at the Castle Hill Lincoln Farmers market. This market is held on the third Saturday of each month and Fabulously Fruity wines are one of the regular stalls exhibiting each month. This market is in a fantastic location between Lincoln Castle and the Cathedral opening from 9am to 4pm. Come to see us and soak up the lovely atmosphere of Lincoln during the festive period.

The weekend of the 28th and 29th November sees the Fabulously Fruity team in 3 different locations! On the Friday evening and all day Saturday and Sunday finds us at the Lincolnshire Food and Gift Fair held at the Lincolnshire showground. The is a super annual event which is one of the biggest of its kind in Lincolnshire. You will se us on stand 127 which is not far from the main entrance.

On the Saturday we are at the Brigg farmers market. Held along the main street in Brigg 9am to 3pm. This is a great open air, traditional farmers market showing off everything that is good about Lincolnshire! On the same day we are also attending the Beverley Christmas Festival of food and Drink held inside Beverley minster 10am to 3:30pm. This is a spectacular location to visit let alone hold a Food and Drink Festival in! The Fabulously Fruity wine team will give a presentation on our wine at 11:30 on the main stage – don’t miss it!

On Sunday 6th December we are at 2 events in the East Riding of Yorkshire. From 9am to 1pm as on every first Sunday of the month we are at the Humber Bridge Farmers market. A vibrant farmers market held in the Humber bridge viewing area and well worth visiting whether you are on the north or south side of the Humber. From 12pm to 7pm we are at the Cottingham@Christmas Festival which along with all the stallholders there is street food and live music to get everyone in the Christmas mood!

Sunday 13th December finds us at another major event in the East Riding of Yorkshire. This time at the Beverley Festival of Christmas held through the town centre in the Saturday market place. Events in Beverley always attract large numbers of visitors and this will be one of the biggest. Our Christmas stall and the team dressed in Victorian dress will be worth a visit alone! But of course our fruit wine will steal the show.

Saturday 19th December will be everyone’s last weekend of shopping before the big day so if you have left anything to the last minute or want a unique gift we will be at the Castle Hill Farmers market in Lincoln and Brigg Farmers market as previously described.

Remember we are open every Saturday for wine tasting and sales at Peaks Top Farm 2pm to 4pm and you can call us on 01472 812941 seven days a weeks if you would like to pick up any wine directly from the farm.
