We are in the final week of preparation and counting down the days to the 2019 Peaks Top Farm Christmas fair. The list of jobs in the build up to this weekend has been double checked and we are now in the final stages of getting everything ready for a successful weekend. As always our Christmas fair will take place inside one of our barns. This provides all our lovely stallholders and customers with extra protection from the great british weather. This year our fair will be bigger than ever, with another marquee and more stalls. During this week we will build the marquees, decorate them inside in full Christmas mode to inspire and get everyone in that Christmas spirit! The layout of stalls will then be set out, to provide a nice flow and retail mix through the marquees. Don’t worry about whatever the weather throws at us this weekend, our heated marquees will provide shelter for everyone. Outside the marquees we will have a selection of Christmas trees on show, cut from our own fields here at Peaks Top Farm. Our Christmas Tree fields will be open this weekend to pre order, so if you wish to ‘pick your own’ christmas tree to make sure you get the perfect one – take your pick! Across the farmyard our ‘pop up’ café is being set up which is always one of the highlights for many of our customers attending the events we hold at Peaks Top Farm. The café will be amply stocked with a wide variety of homemade cakes and hot drinks to keep you going or provide you with a break from the shopping! Holmes Farm from just down the coast at Somercotes will also be providing hot food through the weekend.
We are looking forward to welcoming back some regular stallholders at events we hold at Peaks Top Farm, such as
Ferry Ales Brewery, Spire Chocolates, Greenfield Bakers, Shearsmiths Jewellery and Terry Alford.
To add to this year’s fair we have a number of new stallholders which include: Stax of Wax local bee keepers with honey and associated products. The Tack Shack from Market Rasen. Ascent Bath & Body products and Button Up Crafts.
We like to encourage and support local Lincolnshire businesses and this year is no exception. We are sure that the great selection of stalls will provide a good day out for all our visitors. The fair will be open on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th November from 10am to 4pm both days. The fair is free for everyone to enter and we have lots of car parking space which is again is free.
We look forward to a great weekend and please come along to support your local independent businesses.
